Doctor’s Demonstrate against Assault (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu: Doctors in Kathmandu today protested against the assault on doctors of Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara.

They protested at Maitighar in Kathmandu saying that the doctors were continuously assaulted and there was no guarantee of safety.

A woman from Lamjung died during treatment last Tuesday at the Manipal Teaching Hospital.

Manipal Hospital premises became tense after the relatives of the deceased assaulted the doctor saying that the patient died due to the negligence of the doctor.
