Germany announces delivery of Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine

January 25, Kathmandu: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has announced the delivery of German-made Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine.

With this announcement, other countries will also be able to send German-made tanks to Ukraine.

Germany was reluctant to provide Ukraine with the war tanks, fearing escalations of tensions with Russia.

Similarly, the US has also announced to send war tanks to Ukraine.
