Six killed in Palpa bus accident

January 6, Kathmandu: Six people have died in a bus accident that occurred at Rainadevi Chahara Rural Municipality-8, Khursane of Palpa district.

The District Police Office Palpa has informed that the deceased have been identified as 36-year-old Nirmala Ghimire, 11-year-old Saru Maya Ghimire, 54-year-old Khim Kumari Rana, 40-year-old Guna Kumari Gaha, 21-year-old Dan  Kumari Khatri and 19-year-old Bima Pandey.

The passenger bus met with an accident at 9 PM on Thursday while heading to Khursane of Palpa from Saljhandi of Rupandehi. As many as 18 people have been injured in the accident.

The District Police Office informed that the injured had been taken to Lumbini Provincial Hospital for treatment.
