WB to provide US$120 million concessional loan and US$19.7 million aid to Nepal

Kathmandu: The World Bank has agreed to provide 120 million US dollars concessional loan and 19.7 million US dollars fiscal aid to Nepal.

The agreement was signed amidst a function organized at the Finance Ministry in Kathmandu today.

Finance Secretary Arjun Prasad Pokharel and World Bank Country Director for Nepal, Faris Hadad Zervos signed the agreement from the respective sides.

The International Development Association under the World Bank provided the loan and aid to Nepal for infrastructure development and maintaining quality assurance in public schools in Nepal.
