Possibility of rainfall due to westerly wind

April 28, Kathmandu: The Weather Forecasting Division has said that there is probability of rainfall due to the impacts of westerly wind and local wind on Friday.

Senior meteorologist at the division, Barun Poudel shared there was chance of rainfall due to influence of westerly wind and pre-monsoon activities.

Rainfall with thunder and lightning are predicted especially in mountainous belt of the country while strong wind is likely to take place in one-two areas of western Terai.

In the night light and brief rain is predicted in one-two places of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces with thunders and lightning with partial to general change in the weather in the rest of the country country.
