Ukraine says Russia is preparing major attack on February 24

February 2, Kathmandu: Ukraine has said that Russia is preparing for a major attack on February 24. 

Ukraine’s Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov claimed that Russia had deployed 500,000 soldiers to carry out a fierce attack on the occasion of the completion of one year of the Ukraine invasion.

 Russia is also celebrating a military holiday named Defender of the Fatherland on February 23. Russia has increased its military activity in eastern Ukraine for the past few days.

Three civilians were killed and more than 20 injured when Russia launched an airstrike on a residential building in the eastern Donetsk region of Ukraine.
