PM Dahal calls for unity to fulfil the martyrs’ dreams

January 30, Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the new government formed amidst challenging circumstances is determined to work to realize the aspiration for social justice, good governance, and prosperity.

In a message on the occasion of Martyr’s Day on Monday, he also expressed his commitment to dedicate his entire life to the cause of the country and its people.

“I sincerely appeal to all to follow the path shown by the martyrs, not only in words but also in deeds, resolving to utilize their sacrifices for the development and prosperity of the nation”, he said in the message.

Prime Minister Dahal said believed that the dream and contribution of martyrs would always remain an inspiration to institutionalize the federal democratic republic and make the country prosperous and developed through the implementation of the new constitution.

He also called on everyone to join hands to fulfil the dreams of martyrs for the better future of the country and the people.

“Today is a day to pay special respect to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the self-respect and freedom of Nepal and Nepali people,” he said in the message and extended tributes to the great martyrs who sacrificed their lives in various movements in favour of the change, while expressed high respect to all the missing warriors.

He wished the fighters who were injured during the movements a speedy recovery and long life.
