Gandaki Province Chief Gurung calls for formation of government

Pokhara: Chief of Gandaki Province, Prithvi Man Gurung, has called the parties representing the Province Assembly (PA) for the formation of a government. 

A PA member with the majority backing by two or more than two parties representing the PA can claim the position of the Chief Minister as per Article 168 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal.

The Province Chief called on the parties to submit their claim within 4 pm on January 9 for the formation of the provincial government, reads a press release issued by the Spokesperson of the office of the Province Chief, Chandi Prasad Aryal.
