COP 27 Summit in Egypt nearing conclusion

November 20, Kathmandu: The UN Summit on climate change, COP27, is approaching a successful conclusion after the developed countries said that they will provide more financial support to tackle climate disaster.

The Summit, ongoing in Egypt’s Sharm EL Sheikh, was extended till Sunday after it failed to reach a proper conclusion in the earlier sittings. 

The conference is nearing its conclusion after the European Union and other developed nations introduced a new policy to provide more financial support to developing countries to deal with the climate crisis.

The developing countries have said that they will take more initiatives on Sunday to reach an agreement that suits them.
