Chinese Leader Li visits Bhaktapur Durbar Square

September 14, Kathmandu: The Chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress, Li Zhanshu, visited Bhaktapur Durbar Square on Wednesday Morning.

He was welcomed at Bhaktapur Durbar Square by Bhaktapur Municipality’s Mayor Sunil Prajapati and other high-level officials along with a cultural dance.

Chairman Li observed the historical heritages reconstructed with Chinese assistance which were damaged by the 2015 Gorkha Earthquake.

The Municipality officials informed Chairman Li about the progress made in the reconstruction works of the damaged heritages.

Chairman Li is scheduled to meet President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on Wednesday afternoon.

Chairman Li will leave for China on Thursday after completing his official visit to Nepal.
