CPN Maoist Center Chairman Prachanda meets Chinese Leader Li

September 13, Kathmandu: Chairman of the CPN Maoist Center Puspa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and visiting Standing Committee Chairman of National People’s Congress of China Li Zhanshu have held delegation-level talks this morning at the Federal Parliament Secretariat, New Baneshwor.

Chairman Prachanda expressed his happiness over the visit of Chairman Li while adding that Chairman Li’s first overseas visit to Nepal as a Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Chairman of the National People’s Congress of China would be very important to strengthen Nepal-China relations.

Chairman Prachanda also recalled the visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2019 while praising all aspects of Nepal-China friendship.

During the meeting, Chairman Li said, it was his first visit after the Covid pandemic to Nepal and this visit will help to further strengthen Nepal china friendship, cooperation, and mutual ties.
