Flexible approach needed to conclude seat sharing in upcoming elections: Minister Karki
Kathmandu: The meeting of the seat allocation taskforce of the ruling coalition held today could not reach a consensus on seat sharing in upcoming federal and provincial elections.
After the meeting held at Baluwatar on Monday, Communication Minister Gyanendra Bahadur Karki said efforts were made to force a consensus on seat sharing modality but an additional discussion was needed as the ruling parties made their claims on some same seats.
Communication Minister Karki called for a flexible approach from the ruling partners to draw conclusions on seat sharing.
Now, the top leaders of the ruling parties will hold a discussion to conclude the matter.
