Impeachment Recommendation Committee continues interrogating CJ Rana

Kathmandu: The Impeachment Recommendation Committee of the House of Representatives continued quizzing suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Jung Bahadur Rana on Sunday as well.

While giving his statement, Chief Justice Rana accepted his mistake while reducing the jail term of former Armed Police Force DIG Ranjan Koirala.

Member of the Impeachment Recommendation Committee and Congress Whip Min Bishwokarma quoted Chief Justice Rana that he wanted an apology if they had taken impeachment on basis of the verdict on Ranjan Koirala’s case.

The committee has called suspended chief justice Rana for the next session of interrogation on the 10th of September.
