Nepal defeat Kenya by 7 wickets in first ODI match

Nairobi: Nepal defeated Kenya by 7 wickets in the first ODI match held in Nairobi on Friday.

Nepal chased the target of 219 runs in 47.2 overs losing 3 wickets. Opener Aasif Sheikh scored the highest 110 runs while another opener Arjun Saud collected 61 runs for the Nepali team.

In the first innings, Kenya had posted 218 runs in 48.1 overs losing all the wickets. Rakep Patel scored 67 runs while Collins Obuya scored 62 runs for Kenya.

From the balling side of Nepal, Sompal Kami and Karan KC took each 3 wickets.
