Nepal defeats Kenya by 4 wickets in third T-20 match

Nairobi: Nepal has defeated Kenya by 4 wickets in the third T-20 match played in Nairobi on Sunday. Nepal chased the target of 157 runs in 19.3 overs losing 6 wickets.

Gyanendra Malla scored the highest 46 runs for the Nepali team while debutant Arjun Saud collected 35 runs for the team. Likewise, Rohit Paudel scored 29 runs and Pawan Sarraf collected 20 runs.

From the balling side of Kenya, Eugene Ochieng and Viraj Patel each took 2 wickets.

Earlier, Kenya elected to bat first after winning the toss and managed to collect 156 runs losing 2 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Sompal Kami and Adil Ansari each took one wicket for the Nepali team.

With the win, Nepal has taken the lead of 2-1 in the T-20 series. Nepal will play the next match against Kenya on Monday. Nepal will play a total of 5 T-20 matches and 2 one-day matches under the series with Kenya.
