COVID-19: 487 new cases with one death

Kathmandu: A total of 487 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours.

This was found in 4,177 samples that were tested in various laboratories across the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

During the period, 164 people recovered from coronavirus infection. Currently, the number of active infected is 4,298, including 4,123 people in home isolation, 175 in institutional isolation, 50 in ICU and two with the support of ventilators.

Meanwhile, one person died of COVID-19, taking the death toll to 11,995 so far. Also today, 39,448 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
