Ambassadors from various countries meet UML Chair Oli to discuss government’s efforts on amending transitional justice laws

Kathmandu: Ambassadors from various countries met CNP UML Chair KP Sharma Oli at the Party Office at Chyasal on Wednesday to discuss the government’s efforts on amending laws related to transitional justice. 

US Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry along with British Ambassador to Nepal Nicola Pollitt and ambassadors from Australia and European Union met Chairman Oli and inquired about the party’s stand on the laws related to transitional justice.

They voiced their concerns that the international community wanted to see the effective role of the CPN UML in the parliament to ensure the transnational justice provision as per Nepal’s commitment to International forums.

In reply Chairman Oli said the CPN UML wished to see the completion of the necessary process in the parliament while amending laws related to transitional justice.
