Alliance task force discusses seat allocation modality

Kathmandu: The second meeting of the Seat Allocation Task Force of the ruling alliance discussed the modality for the allocation of seats in the federal and provincial elections to be held on the 20^th of November.

Taskforce member and Maoist Centre leader Dev Prasad Gurung said the meeting held at Baluwatar went positive regarding the seat allocation modality among the ruling partners.

Leader Gurung said although the discussion was held to allocate seats based on the votes garnered by the parties in the local and federal elections held in 2017, the consensus was not forged yet.

The leaders also agreed to conclude the matter in the next meeting after holding discussions internally in the party.

The next meeting of the task force is set to be held on the 15^th of August.
