2.3 million doses of Pfizer vaccines arrive in Nepal under COVAX
Kathmandu: About 2.3 million doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines arrived in Nepal under the COVAX facility on Sunday.
Chief of the Logistic management section of the Department of Health Service-Dr Surendra Chaurasia, confirmed the arrival of the vaccine.
Dr Chaurasia said the vaccines would be administered to the children who were left during the first phase campaign and would also be used as the second dose.
The doses will be administered to the children from age 5 to 11.
