Nepal exports electricity worth Rs. 1.72 billion to India in June

Kathmandu: Nepal exported electricity worth Rs. 1.72 billion to India in June this year.

Nepal Electricity Authority started exporting surplus electricity to India on June 2 this year.

At the moment Nepal has been exporting 364 MW of electricity every day to the Indian market.
