Speaker Sapkota expresses Nepal’s commitment to upholding principles of NAM

Azerbaijan: House Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has said the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Parliamentary Network has been a milestone in strengthening the values and principles of the Movement.

Addressing the NAM Parliamentary Network in Azerbaijan on Thursday, Speaker Sapkota said Nepal is committed to the principles of the Non-Aligned Movement.

He heightened the growing relevance of NAM in the pursuit of a more peaceful, prosperous, and just world.

The Speaker further stated that despite the achievements, the world continued to face newer and recurrent issues, ranging from conflict to climate change and economic recession and price hikes.
