Home Minister Khand directs concerned agencies to stay ready to stem cholera

Kathmandu: Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed the stakeholders to put efforts to control cholera that has been recently detected in some places including Kathmandu.

On Saturday morning, Home Minister Khand discussed the ways to control cholera with health secretary Dr. Roshan Pokharel, Nepal police Chief Dhiraj Pratap Singh, Armed Police Force chief Raju Aryal, Nepal Police Hospital Director Dr. Asha Singh, and chief of Armed Police Force Hospital Rupak Maharjan.

The Home Minister also directed the bodies concerned to be in a ready position to tackle the diseases.
