Election Commission unveils vote count results of 7 hundred and 51 local levels

Kathmandu: The Election Commission has unveiled the vote count results of 7 hundred and 51 local levels so far.

The vote count continues in Triyuga Municipality of Udayapur while reelection is taking place in Budhi Ganga Municipality of Bajura.

As per the vote count result published so far, Nepali Congress has been in the leading position in terms of wins at local levels. CPN UML stands second and CPN Maoist Centre stands in third place as per the election results.

13 thousand 7 hundred 37 local body officials including ward members have been elected to represent the Nepali Congress.

11 thousand 8 hundred and 72 local body officials have been elected representing the UML and 5 thousand 44 local body officials have been elected representing the CPN Maoist Centre.

The local levels have a total of 35 thousand 2 hundred and 21 officials. Some 1 hundred and 45 thousand candidates had filed their candidacies in the election.
