Dang: The counting of votes in the Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city has started.

Chief Election Officer Ritendra Thapa informed that the counting of votes started at 10:30 am.

Meanwhile, the counting of votes is underway in Dangisharan, Babai, Shantinagar, Rajpur, Gadhwa, Rapti, Bangalachuli and Lamahi municipalities of the district but the counting of votes in Tulsipur sub-metropolitan municipality will be held from the 17th of  May.

After the death of Labaru Chaudhary, who had become the ward chairman candidate of CPN-UML in ward no-17 the election will be held on the 17th of May and the vote counts will begin on the same night.
