8454 new Covid cases reported in Nepal

Kathmandu: A total of 8 thousand 4 hundred and 54 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Nepal today.

The Ministry of Health and Population confirmed the cases while testing 20 thousand 3 hundred and 59 samples. 

As per the Ministry’s latest information, the test positivity rate has reached 41.1 percent in Nepal.

Likewise, 4 thousand 4 hundred and 33 people recovered from the Covid-19 infection in the past 24 hours. 

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry reported 5 corona-related deaths today, taking the total corona-related death toll to 11 thousand 6 hundred and 72 in the country.

The number of active infection cases has now surged to 90 thousand in Nepal.
