Supreme Court curtails regular services till February 1 citing growing Covid cases

Kathmandu: The Supreme Court has curtailed its regular services till the 1st of February citing growing Covid-19 infection.

The Full Court meeting of the Supreme Court held today decided to provide only 6 services to the service seekers from tomorrow.

Issuing a statement today, the Supreme Court said hearings would be held on cases related to habeas corpus, and the Covid-19 pandemic among others.

The Supreme Court has further said 31 staff of the court including justices and Chief Registrar have tested positive to the Covid -19 amidst growing cases of Omicron variant.
