PM Deuba asks to expedite construction of Nijagadh Airport

Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has asked to expedite the construction of the Nijagadh Airport.
After listening to the briefing of the Nijgahd Airport Master Plan at Baluwatar today, PM Deuba directed the officials to upgrade Tribhuvan International Airport along with the construction of the Nijgadh Airport.
On the occasion, CPN Unified Socialist Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal stressed sooner completion of Nijgadh airport as it had come with a long term vision.
Likewise, Janta Samajbadi Party Chair Upendra Yadav drew the government’s attention to minimize damages to forests while constructing the airport.
On the occasion, Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Prem Bahadur Ale said the project would be forwarded soon.
