President Bhandari applauds provisions regarding implementation of Human Rights

December 10, Kathmandu: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari has extended her best wishes on the occasion of International Human Rights Day 2021.

Bidya Devi Bhandari has insisted that time has come to internalize the issues of the nation’s independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national unity in terms of the consolidation of human rights. 

President Bhandari said Nepal’s constitution has guaranteed respect and protection, promotion, and effective enforcement of human rights. 

The President further said she was happy to see provisions made by various bodies in regard to the implementation of human rights.
