Maoist centre meeting

Kathmandu: The CPN-Maoist Center has convened a meeting of the Standing Committee today to discuss the preparations for the National Conference.

A meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPN Maoist Center will be held at 12:30 pm today to discuss the preparations for the National Conference scheduled for December 26 to 28.

Office Secretary of the CPN Maoist Shri Ram Dhakal informed that the meeting will discuss the delegates, documents and management of the conference.

An earlier meeting of the Standing Committee of the Maoist Center had formed a three-member committee comprising leaders Giriraj Mani Pokhrel, Shakti Bahadur Basnet and Ganesh Shah to prepare a timely proposal for the National Conference.

The CPN Maoist has already convened a ward and local level conference to submit the list of delegates of the provincial conference to be held on December 11 and 12 to the provincial election committee.
