PM Deuba-led delegation to attend World Leaders’ Summit; Nepali national football team players to get 500k each

October 18, Kathmandu: A meeting of the Council of Ministers has decided to form a delegation to attend the ‘world leaders’ summit’ on climate change to be held at Glasgow of the United Kingdom (UK) under the leadership of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The 26th Conference of Party (COP-26) on climate change is taking place at Glasgow from October 31 to November 12.

The cabinet meeting on Monday decided to provide an incentive of Rs 500,000 in cash each to the players and Rs 300,000 to the coach of Nepali football team that came second in the SAFF Championship football tournament held in the Maldives recently, shared Minister for Communications and Information Technology and government spokesperson Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.
