Doti : The Bhimdatta Highway that links seven hilly districts has been obstructed by a rainfall-induced landslide at the Bhasu cliff.
The Far West Province Police Office said, despite efforts to clear debris, continuous rain has affected repair work. A dozer is at work to clear debris since early morning today.
The Police said, as a result of the obstruction, vehicles and passengers have been stuck midway.
Meanwhile, the district administration office has urged the residents of the district to stay alert against flooding as rainfall continues for the past two days.
Chief District Officer Shankar Bahadur Bista, said, Rivers in the district may get swollen anytime due to torrential rain increasing risk of flooding villages.
