Defence Minister Rijal visits NA Headquarters

October 18, Kathmandu: Minister for Defense Dr. Minendra Rijal has made an inspection visit of Nepali Army Headquarters.

Welcoming the line minister on Sunday, Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma thanked the government for the support provided to Nepali Army.

On the occasion, Minister Dr. Rijal lauded the roles played by the Nepali Army during disaster management, covid-19 pandemic and in UN peacekeeping missions abroad.

He also pledges to work for the betterment of the Nepali Army to ensure National Security and ensure resources for the programmes the Nepali Army has kept in priority.
