Vaccination Week will be celebrated from August 9 to 16

Kathmandu: The government is going to celebrate ‘Vaccination Week’ from August 9 to 16.

At a meeting of Education and Health Comittee under the House of Representatives, Minister of State for Health and Population Umesh Shrestha informed that preparations are being made to celebrate Vaccination Week from August 9.

He said that 800,000 doses of vaccine brought from Japan and 300,000 from Bhutan would be vaccinated during this period.

He also informed that the Covishield vaccine would be given to the senior citizens who have been vaccinated before.
