CCMC discusses ways to control coronavirus

July 31, Kathmandu: The meeting of COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre (CCMC) has focused on ways to make the Covid-19 control mechanism effective.

The CCMC meeting held on Friday at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers also discussed the latest situation of the virus and the new strategy to prevent and control it.

Present in the meeting were Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gyanendra Bahadur Karki, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal, Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa, CCMC Chief Balananda Sharma and secretaries of various ministries.

Lately, the Covid-19 infection rate in the Country is increasing.

The Ministry of Health and Population stated that the country recorded 3,611 new infection cases and 27 deaths due to coronavirus infection in a single day on Friday.
