June 26, Kathmandu: India has said that it has agreed to continue dialogues with China to resolve the issues seen at the Sino-Indian border in Eastern Ladakh.

The Ministry of External Affairs’ statement comes in the wake of speculation that the Sino-Indian relations had soured following the remarks made by the Indian External Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar regarding the relation between the two neighbours.

China had strongly objected Indian External Minister’s statement that China was becoming aggressive in the bordering areas.

The speculations of conflict had also risen as the talk teams formed between the two countries which had met for the past eleven times have recently stopped meeting

India has said agreement has also been made on conducting the 12th session of the meeting soon.

India has said that a conducive environment for resolving the border issues between the two countries was being created as both the countries were ready for an open discussion about it.

Meanwhile, China has so far made no remarks on it.
