China to provide 300k doses of Covid-19 vaccine to Nepal

February 1, Kathmandu: The Chinese government has decided to provide 300,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines to Nepal.

The Embassy of China in Nepal stated on Sunday that it was  coordinating with Nepali authorities on the registration for emergency use of the vaccine.

The Embassy also stated that it would like to deliver the vaccines at the earliest to help Nepal  to win it’s battle against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The vaccine to be provided for Nepal was developed by China’s Sinopharm and has received marketing approval in China.
