Worker falls to death

January 30, Bhaktapur: A labourer working on a construction site has died after falling off the second floor of an under-construction house. The labourer was working on a house being constructed in Kundole of Madhyapurthimi municipality-6 when the incident took place on Friday.

The deceased worker has been identified as Prem Magar,40, of Bethanchowk rural municipality-6, Kavre, currently living in the same vicinity, according to DSP at the Metropolitan Police Range, Bhaktapur Dipak Giri. Soon after the fall, fellow workers rushed him to the hospital, but he died on the way.

An investigation has been launched into the incident.
