Kathmandu- The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has signed an agreement with Radio Nepal to broadcast a series of weather-related radio programs.
Buddhi Bahadur KC, Executive Director (ED) of Radio Nepal, and Suraj Kumar Baidya, Director-General (DG) of DHM, signed the agreement to this effect on Monday.
As per the agreement, Radio Nepal will broadcast a radio program series titled “Mausam Chautari” every Friday from 8: 15 AM to 8:30 AM.
The radio program will help both the general public and the people involved in the agriculture sector to better understand the different weather phenomena.
Radio Nepal- DoE sign agreement
The Department of Environment (DoE) has signed an agreement with Radio Nepal to broadcast radio program series with the aim of raising environment-related awareness amongst the people.
ED KC and DG of DoE Mukunda Prasad Niraula signed an agreement to this effect on Monday.
Radio Nepal will disseminate information in order to create awareness regarding forest and environment conservation, the agreement states.
