WB signs $80m agreement with Govt. for promoting rural entrepreneurship
Kathmandu- The Government of Nepal (GoN) and the World Bank (WB) have signed on the financial agreement worth Nrs. 9.5 billion ($80 Million) for “Rural Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Program.”
Amid a program organized at the Finance Ministry on Monday, secretary of the ministry Shishir Kumar Dhungana and Country Director of the World Bank to Nepal, the Maldives, and Srilanka, Faris Hadad-Jarvos signed on the agreement.
The “Rural Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Program” aims at promoting market of the rural agricultural produces and rural entrepreneurship.
