Kathmandu- Minister for Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel and Ambassador of South Korea to Nepal Park Yong Sik on Thursday held a cordial meeting at the Finance Ministry.
The meeting was focused on bilateral relations, collaboration and co-operation between the two countries, according to the spokesperson at the Ministry for Finance.
During the meeting, Finance Minister Paudel applauded the contribution of South Korea on education, health and infrastructure development of Nepal.
The Finance Minister also clarified that the Government of Nepal (GoN) was committed to supporting the projects running in Nepal under the aid of the South Korean government.
Similarly, informing about the aid and support extended by the South Korean government in various sectors of Nepal, Ambassador Yong Sik said South Korea was willing to extend its support to Nepal in the technical and vocational education sector.
He also said he would co-ordinate to increase investment in Nepal from the private sector of South Korea. The ambassador also vowed to help Nepal support in its fight to contain COVID-19.
