Heavy snowfall in the mountainous regions has thrown the normal life out of gear as the weather pattern changes.
The snowfall and dip in mercury has adversely affected the life of people in various places of Bajhang, Bajura, Doti, Dadeldhura, Baitadi, Achham and Darchula of Far West Province.
Dadeldhura Chief District Officer Raju Pd Paudel said the snowfall has obstructed various highways in the region.
The locals have complained of difficulties to manage daily chores like preparing fodder for livestock and come out of the house as the temperature has gone down.
Normal life in Jumla, Humla, Mugu, Dolpa, Kalikot, West Rukum, Jajarkot, Dailekh, and Salyan of Karnali Province has also been hit hard as the temperatures goes down as the region witnessed rainfall and snowfall.
High altitudes of Jumla has witnessed snowfall more than five feet and the temperature has gone below -10 degree Celsius. The vehicles playing along Jumla-Mugu road have been stranded on the roads due to snowfall.
In the mountainous region of West Rukum, Baglung and Rolpa have also seen the winter snow. The snowfall has gripped the normal life putting people in difficulties.
While with the snowfall in Kalinchok for the second time the season, the tourist have flocked in the region.
Kathmandu along with surrounding areas and eastern Nepal have also seen fall in temperature due to winter rain.
