NCP Standing Committee continues discussion on political report

Kathmandu, Dec 17: The Nepal Communist Party Standing committee meeting continued discussions on on the political report presented by the party chairs duo and the party’s statute amendment proposal presented by the party General Secretary.

Speaking in the meeting held at the party’s headquarters at Dhumbarahi held today 12 standing committee members and two invited member put forth their views in the proposal along with the effectiveness of party’s government’s works.

Talking to media persons after the meeting, Nepal Communist Party’s spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha said the speakers in the meeting had stressed on the need of ending factionalism in the party, bolstering party the organization, and making the government’s works effective.

Party spokesperson Shrestha further said the standing committee will continue to discuss the proposal tomorrow as well.
