Gov is preparing to add security surveillance posts along borders to protect Nepali territory: Home Minister

Kathmandu, Nov 27: Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa has said the government is preparing to add security surveillance posts along borders to protect Nepali territory.

Receiving a memorandum from ‘Save the Border’ today, Home Minister Thapa clarifed Nepal has plenty of historical evidences that show Kalapani, Limpiyadhura and Lipulekh in Nepali territory.

The Minister informed that 30-35 Kilo meters distances between existing Boarders security surveillance posts will be decreased to 10 kilometers soon.

Home Minister Thapa further said it is a high time for Nepal to establishing ownership of its territory, motioning the map recently released by India.

Likewise, Submitting a memo including the proof of Kalapani and Limpiyadhura belonging to Nepal to Landmanagement Minister Padma Aryal today, the campaign leaders asked the government to issue a new map of the country including the encroached lands.
