Bhadrapur Airport to remain closed for 10 days from today

November 12 : The Bhadrapur Airport in Jhpa district is to fully remain closed for 10 days from today.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN)’s Chandaragdhi Office stated that the airport is to be shut for repairing and upgrading the runway.

The airport will remain closed till November 21.

Although the runway was repaired by halting flights to and from the airport from September 6 to 21, it was not found effective.

The runway repairing and upgrading works are being carried out at an investment of Rupees 102.3 million.
