Kathmandu Nov 11: Senior leader of Nepal communist party NCP Madhab Kumar Nepal has opined to resolve the border issue through high level diplomatic and political channels.
Speaking at a program in Kathmandu today, he said the agreement with India and China regarding Lippulek land should be raised with Indian and China to permanently resolve the border issue with India.
At the same venue, another senior leader Jhalanath Khanal said other land encroachments at the border areas should be strongly raised with India while resolving the Lippulekh border dispute.
Leader Bamdev Gautam said the Indian security force should be removed from Kalaparni areas through high-level diplomatic channels. Nepali Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak said there should not be any delay to resolve the border issue through high level diplomatic effort.
