Candidacy nomination filing for November 30 by election of House of Representatives and State Assembly takes place today

November 7 : Candidacy nomination filing has taken place today in view of by-election for vacant members of House of Representatives and State Assembly scheduled for coming November 30.

According to the Election Commission, the nomination filing was scheduled to take place from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm today. The by-election is taking place for a member of the House of Representatives and three members of the State Assembly.

The by-election to a member of the House of Representative is to be held in Kaski Constituency-2 while by-election to the State Assembly member is taking place in Bhaktapur Constituency 1, Baglung Constituency 2 and Dang Constituency 3.

Likewise, the Offices of the Chief Returning Officers have been established in various districts in preparation for the by-election.

The Election Commission stated that 48 offices of the Chief Returning Officer and Returning Officer have been set up in 37 districts in the country.
