Party leaders and cadres are deviating from discipline: NCP chair Dahal

Chitwan, Oct. 17: Nepal Communist Party chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the party leaders and cadres are deviating from discipline. He also cautioned that if there is any difficulty in the mega campaign of change and socialism ahead from anywhere, it will be from within.

Addressing the greetings exchange program organized by the Nepal Communist Party Chitwan in Chitwan today, Chairman Dahal reiterated that it is the Nepal Communist Party’s responsibility to institutionalize the change that has been brought after 70 years of struggle.

Stating that there is no chance of the federal democratic republic being shaken just someone tried to do so, he urged for seriousness among the party leaders and cadres to protect the change and implement the achievements. The party chairman said he felt uneasy when he compared the situation in Nepal at the time the Chinese President Xi Jinping mentioning about the discipline of the communist leaders and cadres in China.

Also speaking on the occasion, Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa said there is a tendency of creating hurdles in the journey towards development and prosperity in society. Therefore, all should fight such a negative tendency with unity.

Today itself inaugurating First Rapti Fair organized in East Chitwan, Chairman Dahal said Chitwan district should become a model for the country’s development.

Likewise, Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa called for cooperation between the political parties and the public to achieve the goals envisioned in the 15th five-year plan. (RSS)
