People receiving tika, jamara and blessings from elders today as well

October 9 : Nepalis are celebrating the greatest festival Dashain by receiving Tika, Prasad and blessings from their family members and relatives today as well.

The Tika receiving continues till the day of full moon, which is coming Sunday this year, as per the traditions.

However, some communities offer and receive Tika on the day of Vijaya Dashami only.
