Six persons die and 20 injured in separate road accidents in Nawalparasi

September 24 : Six persons died and more than 20 people were injured in separate road accidents that took place at three different places of Nawalparasi district along east-west highway.

Police Inspector at the District Police Office Nawalparasi, Rajendra Adhikari informed five persons died and 15 others were injured when a car and a truck collided with each other at Kharkatta jungle of Kawasoti municipality yesterday night.

The deceased have been identified as Purna Bahadur BK of Devchuli municipality-1, Dil Bahadur Dhenga Magar of Devchuli-5, Dipesh Rana and Hira Rana of Devchuli municipality-10 and Suraj Rana Magar of Dhangadhi-11 of Kailali district.

All the five deceased were travelling in the car. Similarly, a person died and 15 others were injured when a bus heading towards Kathmandu from Dang overturned after losing its controlat at Madhyabindu municipality-10 yesterday night.

The deceased has been identified as 35 year old bus driver  Laxman Timilsina of Makawanpur. The injured are undergoing treatment at different hospitals of Nawalparasi.
