Sagarmatha Sambad seminar to take place in Kathmandu on 3rd and 4th April, 2020

September 18, Kathmandu : Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has said it would be much easier to face new challenges like climate change, immigration, and environment degradation by bringing all stakeholders together.

Addressing a National Consultation Seminar organized by Sagarmatha Sambada Secretariat in the capital today, Minister Gyawali said the world was facing emerging challenges and such challenges could only be addressed through global dialogue.

Speaking in the same program, Minister for Forest and Environment Shakti Bahadur Basnet said the country would globally initiate “Sagarmatha Sambad” raising important environmental challenges facing the world from the land of Mt. Everest itself.

“Sagarmatha Sambad” is going to be organized on 3rd and 4th Apirl 2020 for discussing climate change, mountain ecosystem, and future of human race, among other topics.

The Organizers believe that today’s seminar will come up with appropriate topics to be discussed during the Sagarmatha Sambad.
